Whidbey Art Gallery, Langley - CALL FOR ARTISTS!
Bunnies will be hopping into the Whidbey Art Gallery in May. The gallery will be filled with unique artful bunnies. After downloading the pattern, make the bunny your own, embellishing with materials of your choice. Feathers, beads, artwork, wood, candy… anything you like. The template does not have to be paper. You could use it to create a wooden or metal bunny for instance. You may also enlarge or shrink the pattern. Pattern may be enlarged or reduced, but may not be taller than 18”. Please construct your bunny well and a small base may be used.
The application is due by April 10 (deliver, mail to gallery or email to shaisteiner07@gmail.com) and the 3-D bunny is due to the gallery by April 25th.
The entries will be juried in to the show and should be submitted to the gallery. The entry fee is $5.00 per bunny.
In the event an entry is declined, entrant will be notified by phone or email on April 30 and will need to pick up the bunny then.
Entries must be picked up at the end of the show on May 31.
The bunnies can be for sale or not. Guest artists will pay a 32% commission on sales. Checks for any sold entries will be available mid June and will be available at the gallery.
All participating artists will be invited guests at the first Saturday art walk from 5-7pm on May 4th.
