Muriel Hastings is a Langley based photographer whose work has been published internationally. Her fine art photography is a part of private and corporate collections. Her work has been described as emotional and evocative. 

“I enter into each photo shoot as a mystery,” she says. “I search for images that make me feel completely alive. Whether I am looking into the face of a rose or framing a sweeping landscape, I see with my heart as much as with my eyes.”

Muriel’s images are a reflection of her inner self and range from soulful, sensual and whimsical, to edgy and sparse.

Muriel captures moments that make her heart leap: a reflection of a flower in a rain puddle, a lush country road, or the light through the trees. A photograph captures an ephemeral moment, often moments of simple beauty.
