Steven Eirschele, Photographer
All my work currently on display uses the finest materials to give you the highest quality archival photograph. Museum glass, archival over matt and backer, world’s finest papers, buffered dry mount tissue, archival inks, etc. Highest quality. Classically displayed. Quite expensive.
For this Featured Artist display I am introducing my fine art photographs with the same artistic intent, intriguing, dramatic, and sometimes mysterious images only in a more contemporary format. The printed paper is trimmed up to the image edges, no border. Its then dry mounted to conservation board and spray coated to protect the surface from fingerprints and dust. Finally foam core adhered to the back ‘floats’ the image away from the wall. The finished photograph is the same size as my largest framed photo. However, it’s not archival and the edges are unprotected. The mounted fine art photo takes up less space on your wall…and costs less.
