What's happening at Whidbey Art Gallery
★Whidbey Art Gallery March 2022★
|
Members at Whidbey Art Gallery are looking forward to Spring, and their new show, Hope Springs Eternal says it all. Be sure to stop by and enjoy some uplifting work. Our featured artist for March is Annette Hanna. Her wall full of flowers, done in pastel and oil will brighten up your day. Annette says, ‘l was an oil painter first and a pastel painter second. Now I work in both mediums but primarily in pastel. I have always loved flowers and their significance to Spring and joyful moments. How can you not love a flower?’ We are delighted to welcome three new members to the gallery, Richard Lawson, photography, Tricia Balok, ceramics and Mitch Marden, cold wax encaustic. Richard’s work is already up and well worth a visit. We look forward to seeing Tricia and Mitch’s work soon. We plan to resume first Saturday Art Walk on March 5 from 5-7. This is a great opportunity for an outing with your friends and family. Come on down to Second St in Langley and meet many of the artists and see all the inspiring new work. |
