What's happening at Whidbey Art Gallery
★Crow Show & Guest Artist Scott Chreist★
It’s October, and you know what that means! Crow Show!!
This members only show begins October 1 and continues through the month. Who knows what our talented artists will create this month, and a great time to see it is this Saturday, October 2 at Art Walk from 5-7. Come meet the artists and enjoy music in Frick Lane by Rick Azim. Masks required.
You can also see the new show by our guest artist, Scott Chreist, an acrylic painter who says he visits fragments of memories and emotion while encouraging the tension between acrylic paint and canvas texture. This creative artist is also a photographer, musician, and writer. He is influenced by Klimt, Matisse, Richter and Price and the scenery life presents. This show also runs through October.
Our featured member artist is photographer Steve Eirschele who will present some of his black and white photographs on canvas. They are dramatic, and beautiful.
In case you didn’t see it, Whidbey Art Gallery has recently put out a Call for Artists. This is for working artists in 2D or 3D mediums. You can find a description and contact information here.
