May at Whidbey Art Gallery
Join us Saturday May 6th for Art Walk from 5-7 pm at the Whidbey Art Gallery. Enjoy light refreshments and music by David Locke and his accordion as you stroll through five rooms of art.
Hank Nelson, Sculpture. In part, my sculptures are about human frailties and an optimism of an evolving human psyche striving for perfection. As a stone carver, my slow and arduous journey is a search to depict a better way for humans to interact in this world.
Declan Travis, photographer. Declan's passion for photography shines whether the subject is barred owls, winter wonderlands, self-confident selfies with snakes, sumptuous sunsets, senior and wedding portraits, and everything else under 'this candle we call the sun, round which we phantom figures come and go'.
Nancy has been oil painting professionally for over twenty years. Her various subjects are influenced by her travels. This painting entitled "Black Soul Mates" was taken on a trip to Portugal.
Enjoy five rooms of art, hallway of cards and an outside sculpture lane from 10 am to 5 pm daily.
