For about 20 years I have been collecting decorative papers. I mostly made greeting cards to send to my friends. Then suddenly in August I met Cheryl Brown, a local paper collage artist, and she sparked a passion for making birds.

Again I started with cards, but quickly started mounting them onto cradle boards. I am totally smitten with the amazing number of birds, their colorations, their personalities.

​Some of mine come quite directly from real life birds, but many come from fantasy inspired by the paper and colors. I hope you enjoy their magic. Hopefully they will make you smile and appreciate, yet again, nature's pure joy in creation.
