Margaret Tollefson, Watercolorist
I paint moments that make my heart skip a beat. From the simplest rock to an unforgettable sunset, I find inspiration here on Whidbey Island. In each painting I hope to transport you to that moment. Watercolor allows me to refine details while still letting the paint flow and mingle on the paper.
Some of my watercolors are framed with no glass between the art and the viewer. These archival varnish and beeswax preserved pieces need only an occasional light buff with a clean cloth.
